ABOUT BRO.DEVANAND

In the Year 1967 Nov 23rd, God blessed the couple Mr. M. Satyanamdam and Mrs. M. Martha Grace with the baby boy. The couple named the child with lot of prayers M. Devanand. These couples were both working as school teachers in the remote villages also preaching and leading the Church of Christ congregation at Dirusumarru village in the year 1976. At that time they didn’t know how the God would use the child for the glory of the God. But with lot of prayers and in the fear of the Lord the child was brought up, taking the child regularly to the Sunday school, and feeding him with true bread of life. The child grew up and has been abundantly used for the Lords Glory.

I Devanand have been working in the rural areas of Andhra Pradesh Church of Christ over past 15 years.

I was baptized at the age of 20 years by Bro. Ch. Jacob in July 26, 1987 at Church of Christ, Bangalore. Later I was trained at Preachers Training School, Kakinada for 2 year (1991-1993)

God blessed me with the life partner and I got married to Ms. Indira in the year 1995. Later we moved to Tadepalligudem and we joined Church of Christ, Tadepalligudem. Since then we took active participation in the church activities. With the support and guidance of Bro. V. Sahadev, Preacher, Tadepalligudem, started to preach the gospel in surrounding villages Pippara, Pentapadu, Alampuram and Suryaraopalem, and by the Grace of our lord, we planted the churches in these villages. And I have been continually edifying the congregations in these villages to grow spiritually over the years.

God has been blessing me to guide the lost souls to turn to see the grace & salvation of God and to accept Lord Jesus as their savior. In 2008, God helped me to start a new congregation at Thadiparru, and in 2009 I have started the worship services at my native town at Tadepalligudem (Extension Area), and God has been blessing these services abundantly.

I have been in touch with members of different denominations & non Christians (mainly Hindus) in many others villages like Jagannadhapuram, Azram etc… sharing the word of truth and love of our savior to the perishing souls. If its Gods will we are planning to start congregation in these areas as well soon.
